The TGA-490, an electronic translator by Franklin Electronic, can translate 450,000 words and 12,000 phrases in 12 languages including Mandarin (Chinese), Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. The device, which will be available from next month, also features an MP3 player, a currency converter, a world clock, an alarm, and a voice recorder.
