Modern hi-tech gadgets sometimes take the adventure and romance out of traveling. I guess, an all-in-one adaptor would fall in this category. Imagine how much you could add to the sum of your knowledge including information on electricity tariffs in Indonesia, people skills necessary to get your shirt ironed by your landlady, learning about the latest colony gossip at the barber shop, etc.

Alas, the all-in-one adaptor takes a bit of fun out of traveling but it more than compensates by letting you enjoy the benefits of uninterrupted electric supply in a foreign country; in fact any foreign country without having to load yourself with individual adaptors for each country on your itinerary.

It is an indispensable item to be placed before anything else in your suitcase. You can charge you cells, PDAs, laptops and other gadgets through this adaptor which works with plugs and voltage systems anywhere in the world.

When buying an all-in-one adaptor, check it for compactness and features like a built-in surge protector. This is a handy feature to have when using your gadgets in places where power surges can occur. It should be lightweight and with a universal input that enables working with non-grounded and grounded plugs. You should be able to get one for around $20.
